Lion Conservaton Mangement
Providing the information necessary to improve the conservation management of Lion populations in the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (Mozambique). Through GPS tracking of Lions, we will address the impact of bushmeat poaching, snaring, and poisoning on the Lion population. The goal is to mitigate the most detrimental threats to the viability of wild lions resulting in a direct and measurable increase in wild lion abundance and range.
